I use this as a chair cover to keep a massage chair covered when I'm not sitting in it. One of our cats will use the chair to jump to the counter where the cat food is (to keep the dog from it). His paws usually track litter so this blanket solves the problem. It's easier to shake the blanket to remove the litter than cleaning the chair with its many crevices. The chair is next to a black grand piano so the blanket matches. It's thick enough to stay in place although the cat has sharp nails so I put a silicon pad on the arm (under the blanket) he uses to jump onto the counter.
